A Weekend with Suzanne and Joel

Pack
  • Towel - for those not flying
  • Shoes for climbing around on the rocks
  • Sweater/sweatshirt: It gets chilly at night.
  • Bathing suit
  • CDs, movies
  • Bike, rollerblades, etc.
  • Optional: Sleeping bag, tent (The house sleeps 11 comfortably.)

Food

I'll assign you something to bring. There is a grocery store on the island, and never a shortage of food at the Pedlikin house, but if you have time before you catch the ferry, check out:

  • Harbor Fish Market (we'll get lobsters on Peaks). Off Commercial St. (map), 1 block from the ferry, on same side of street.
  • Portland Green Grocer - 3ish blocks down Commercial Street.
  • The kosher hot dog vendor - for a dog and a knish. 2 blocks down Commercial St., intersection of Moulton St., red umbrella.
